Description
Zubdat Al-Tafsir by Muhammad Sulayman ‘Abdullah Al-Ashqar is a condensed version of Al-Shawkani’s ‘Fath Al-Qadir’, where he condenses out different interpretations into one concise opinion for each verse. When faced with differing recitation modes for certain verses, he aligns with Hafs, being the most commonly recited mode.
Al-Ashqar selects this interpretation due to it being inclusive, offering not just insights into the Qur’an’s interpretation but also because of it’s comprehensive overview in issues of fiqh.
This well-structured work is praised for its clarity and abundance of examples, being widely recognised and esteemed.
Presented in one volume by Dar Al-Nafaes.
