Description
Mukhtaṣar Al-Qudūrī is one of the most authoritative and widely studied foundational texts of Ḥanafī fiqh. Authored by Imam Aḥmad Ibn Muḥammad Al-Qudūrī, it presents the most commonly encountered rulings of Islamic law across all major chapters through a precise, balanced, and highly concise style, recording the preferred opinions of Imam Abū Ḥanīfa and his two companions without extended proofs.
Esteemed by later scholars as one of the four core texts relied upon for fatwa, and often referred to simply as “the Book”, it has served for centuries as a central reference for students and jurists, inspiring major commentaries such as Al-Lubāb and Al-Jawhar Al-Naqī. This edition is carefully collated from six early manuscripts, refined from later additions, supported by select annotations, and fully vowelled, offering a reliable and elegant presentation of this classic work.
