This work is originally a doctoral dissertation that has now been published by Al-Azhar Islamic Research Academy.
This work takes a critical look at the work ‘Qawl Al-Akhbar Wa Ma’rifah Al-Rijal’ which was written on the doubts regarding the Hadith and Sunnah in terms of the matn (text) of the hadith and it’s sanad (chain of transmission).
The work explores the Mu’tazilite school’s distinct approach, characterized by rationalism and the prioritization of intellect. This approach has often been misconstrued by modern rejecters of hadith, who misuse it to justify misguided claims and false views, thus revealing the inconsistencies in their perspectives.
